The Living Lab is a real-life participatory space for validating GENESIS concepts. Real-life means that all relevant public authorities, research institutions, civil society and companies could develop actions to improve water management and water governance in the context of climate adaptation; innovative concepts, methods, tools and societal interactions could be tested and demonstrated in an operational environment, where public authorities and citizens participate and contribute to validation processes, increasing the understanding of and appreciation for groundwater resources. The living lab will cover the entire water management cycle, including water catchment, extraction, distribution, use, wastewater generation and treatment.
