Macaronesia water climate risk observatory: WP1 will analyze climate trends and extremes across Macaronesia and develop harmonized climate risk profiles for representative islands, assessing short- and long-term vulnerabilities.
NbS Mainstream & Social engagement. WP2 will enhance mainstreaming NbS to significantly accelerate adaptation efforts and shore up social support for the adoption of NbS that build systemic climate resilience in the communities in the area of influence of each demonstration demonstrator site.

Demonstrators and replicators implementation. WP3 will develop, test, and advance the adoption of NbSs that safeguard critical infrastructure from the adverse impacts of climate change in highly vulnerable oceanic islands within the Macaronesia region.
La Palma Deep Demonstrator (Living Lab). WP4 will harness the synergistic potential of NbS in conjunction with other digitalization and strategic approaches to amplify the resilience of critical water infrastructure systems.
Modeling water resources & critical water infrastructures. WP5 will provide tools to assess economic and social losses from climate impacts on water infrastructure and evaluate how Nature‑based Solutions can reduce these losses.
Dissemination & outreach. WP6 will implement a range of activities enabling effective exploitation, dissemination and communication of GENESIS
outcomes.
Management. WP7 will coordinate technical and administrative activities, ensure quality control and risk management, monitor implementation, support partner cooperation and IPR compliance, ensure adherence to contractual obligations, and report progress to the European Commission.
